Shhhh....don't tell! I altered one of those cardboard houses with layers of ephemera, acrylics, lace, vintage pink glass glitter and more. I love how it turned out. HOpe she likes it!

I love to see how other people decorate their homes for Christmas. Here's a few snapshots of mine.

Shabby Pink Party Hat!

Sally Smith won this custom party hat for her participation in an Art in the Word weekly inspirational prompt. She requested her hat be in pink, rose and cream, so I really let the pink explode! Materials used: paper mache cone, pink acrylics, vintage pink satin ribbon, vintage crotcheted roses, paper scrap, silver glitter and old buttons. This may also be turned upside down and used as a cone for goodies!
