I've finally gotten up the courage to start playing with fabric. I created this fabric hoop and am pretty happy with how it turned out.

Oh how beautiful! It is hard to believe that you'd have to build up courage to make such a lovely art object with fabric, lace and buttons. This is beautiful and something I'd be very attracted to for my sewing room. Gorgeous piece!!
